sometimes, we just have to hold on-on our friends, on hope, and on most importantly we have to hold on on time, wishing that it'll pass and things will be fine again....

You have a fight with a friend, you know the real good one...you can either let go off of him/her....or you can hold on...on him/her..as well as on time...hoping that it'll pass..and you'll be back together..
And now extrapolate this experience to some of my experiences you are aware about...you might just get what i want to say...:)
'hold on' and 'let go' perhaps are relatively different for all
